Job Description
· Brennan Manna & Diamond is now hiring a Legal Assistant with experience in any or all practice areas including commercial real estate transactions. This position will work on a team of 2-3 attorneys and paralegals and will report to the Chief People Officer.
Experience Requirements & Education
· 3 to 5+ years of similar office experience in a law firm
· Preparation, formatting and revision of legal documents including contracts, agreements, leases and correspondence
· Scanning, document organization in networked environment
· Experience and ability managing multiple priorities in fast-paced work environment
Responsibilities
· Draft, proofread, revise and distribute notice letters, contracts, leases, transaction and loan documents, and client correspondence in electronic and paper formats
· Communicate professionally with clients and co-workers
· Excellent administrative support and client service oriented
· Calculate, track and calendar contract and lease dates and deadlines
· Manage, organize, and maintain transaction and client files through the life of a transaction
· Input time and expense entries for client billing and closings
· Index and compile closing binder documents in paper and electronic formats
Skills
· Accuracy, proofreading and attention to detail
· Vested and cooperative team attitude
· Proficient using Microsoft Office, Outlook (Calendaring and Email); Excel, Word, Adobe, WorkShare
· Excellent written, oral, reporting, and presentation skills
· Strong organization, analytical and communication skills
· Ability to lift a maximum of 20 pounds
